IN MEMORY OF PRINCE-
Hello, my dearest friends, followers, supporters and readers, today I thought I would write a post
In memory and honor of the artist, songwriter, singer, musician, arranger and instrumentalist of some many I lost count. I was in shock when I heard the news on Thursday  21, 2016, It seems like we are loosing so many great singer, songwriters of this century. As least I know that  in heaven, they are have a huge band of everyone with the most amazing music of all the souls of this brilliant musicians that are now all in heaven making beautiful music. One day we will all be there to listen to that music. Anyway I love his music and I have for many years. So I wanted to honor his life and his love for music & for songwriting and instrumentalist too.
Prince Rogers Nelson was an American singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer and actor. Prince was renowned as an innovator and was widely known for his eclectic work and flamboyant stage presence and wide vocal rage which was amazing. He was widely regarded as the pioneer of Minneapolis sound. His music integrates a wide variety of styles, including funk, rock, R&B, soul, hip hop,
disco, psychedelia, jazz and pop.

Prince was amazing at playing the guitar. He could play it just like Carlos Santana
or Jimi Hendrix, sing like James Brown, turn out pop melodies worthy of Motown and sing the
deepest grooves like know one ever could then switching his vocals from a nasally scream to a
falsetto, or turning out albums after album of stunning innovative material Prince's dazzlingly talented and charismatic singer, songwriter, arranger and instrumentalist who sadly died on Thursday April 21, 2016 at his home drew upon the history of modern popular music and created a gender and genre defying blend of rock, funk and soul. Some of just a few of the millions of hits including '1999' - 'Purple Rain'- and Little Red Corvette'. Just these three hits, Prince records sold more than 100 million copies and earned him Grammys and a Academy Award for music. Prince who was a Minneapolis native stood just 5 feet, 2 inches, yet even with his some height he was very large inside and out. He made a powerful & visual impact on everyone that he meet and everyone that saw him one the screen meaning T.V and many Concerts and movies like that of Purple Rain.( Which is one of my favorite all time movies) I loved the 80's mostly because that was the time of my 20's and MTV ear the good time when it was just Video's of music and that was it. I remember watching it when I would visit my parents with my brother. My brother and I loved the show. When they change it and took all the

video's away and started putting other stuff on It wasn't the same and I really don't watch it anymore but in the day it was Awesome!!! That was the dawn of the age when Prince made his powerful impact on MTV in the 80s Along with Michael Jackson too. Prince was a wonderful different with his openly erotic lyrics that made him one of the most sexually darning artist of the era. I don't thing there will every be one ever one like him again. I will miss him very much. Later with other albums that he rewrote the rulebook in music by forging a synthesis of black funk and white rock that served as a blueprint for the cutting edge in his music in the 80s dedicated him into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame -"Albums 'Sign O' the Times,' Graffiti Bridge' & The Black Album.''
Prince made the dance music that rocked the 80's that had a bristling, funky backbone to it. From the very beginning Prince and his music were androgynous, sly, sexy and provocative. But well all love it! He will be miss so very much. His publicist Yvette Noel-Schure did confirm for the public that the legendary icon performer had died at his home in the morning of the 21 at his home at Paisley Park.

No details about the caused of his death has been released . Prince did postponed a concert in Atlanta on April 7, saying that he had fallen ill with the flu. and he had apologized to his fans during a makeup concert last week. I am not going to talk about the autopsy I figure you all could find that on your own. Me I want to celebrate his life not his death.
So many folks love Prince from the very famous to just simple folks like us doing blogs like us... Mick Jagger was among the numerous musicians, actors and other public figures praising the artist, tweeting  him too. Prince's talent was limitless/timeless. He was one of the most unique and talented artists of the last 30years." Even Madonna had called him saying he is a true visionary. While Oprah Winfrey tweeted: 'Prince the doves really are crying now. Listening to your music. Remembering you" Then there was even President Barack Obama - for whom Prince was a White House guest last year-released a statement saying he and his wife 'joined millions of fans from around the world' mourning  Prince sudden death.
'Few artists have influenced the sound and trajectory of popular music more distinctly, or touched quite so many people with their talent," said Obama. "A strong spirit transcends rules,' Prince once said - and nobody spirit was stronger, bolder or creative than his!'
PURPLE RAIN

He was Born as Prince Rogers Nelson, Yet in the late 1970s he was breaking hits already 'Why you
Wanna Treat Me So Bad?' & 'I Wanna Be Your Lover,' and soared over the following decade with such albums as '1999' and the so poplar 'Purple Rain'. The Title song from '1999' his funky and flippant anthem about an oncoming nuclear holocaust, includes one of the most quoted refrains of popular culture. 'Tonight I'm gonna part like it's 1999.' He later won seven Grammys and received an Academy Award in 1985 for his music from the movie "Purple Rain'-(note I tried to find the movie for you all but I couldn't get it on YouTube in its full without having to pay for it.)
Then in 2004 Prince was inducted into the Rock and Roll of Fame, which hailed him as a Musical and social Trailblazer.
He also made his acting debut in 'Purple Rain' by playing a sexy androgynous young musician on the cusp of fame. The film amplified Prince's popularity and was a box-office success with $68million in ticket sales. Besides winning the Oscar for the Original Song Score, the song 'Purple Rain' Soundtrack won Grammys fro its writing and performance too. The film received mixed reviews, But Roger Ebert called it 'ONE OF THE BEST COMBINATIONS I'VE SEEN OF MUSIC AND DRAMA'.
Over the years in his career he started to become fiercely protective of his independence, battling his record company over the control of his material lyrics and even his name. Anxious to get out of his contract with Warner Bros. He identified himself by a key-like symbol with an unpronounceable name.. Brilliant in my opinion The Journalists and news people called him 'TAFKAP' OR 'THE ARTIST FORMERLY KNOWN AS PRINCE' Prince also once wrote 'SLAVE ON HIS FACE IN PROTEST OF NOT OWNING HIS OWN MUSIC AND FAMOUSLY FOUGHT AND THEN DEPARTED WARNER, BEFORE RETURNING A FEW YEARS AGO.
So you all are probably wondering what happened? or how are things now just before he died. He told the Associated Press in 2014, that he is in the position that he's always wanted to be in.
So now I thought I would give you a little of Prince pass up bringing. Music was always in his blood. Prince father played in a Jazz band in Minneapolis, under the name 'Prince Rogers,' and his mother was the singer. The precocious young Prince taught himself to play the piano at the tender age of only 7, the guitar at 13 and the drums at 14. But his home life was also very trouble life for him. Well, you see his parent separated when he was at a tender age of 10, and Prince who ended up with six other sibling and half siblings moved back and forth between the homes of his mother and father. Because this he
A young Prince at 20
had a very hard childhood and worked hard to get on his own. In 1978, when he turned 20years old. He debuted with the album 'For you'. It was a declaration, if nothing else, that he could do anything; He wrote and sang the material & served as his own one man band on his guitar, bass, drums, synthesizers, chimes and assorted other instruments. The album received mixed reviews, but his second album ---called 'Prince' --sold more than a million copies and launched his run of hit albums and singles over the next few years. Prince didn't become a star in his own right. Like everyone he had to pay his dues. He was a veritable music factory, whether with side projects, such as Vanity and Morris Day and The Time, or the songs he wrote for others Sinead O'Connor had a hit with Nothing Compares 2U,' while other covers included Cyndi Lauper 'When You Were Mine' The Bangles and Manic Monday...
About 200+ fans had gathered by Thursday afternoon outside Paisley Park, Prince home and music studio, where his gold records are on the walls and purple motorcycle he rode in "Purple Rain' is on display. The sprawling white, stone building is surrounded by a fence in Chanhassen a city about 20 miles southwest of Minneapolis. He always had this message and his closes friends would say this about him, 'HE WAS CALLED PRINCE ' A BEAUTIFUL PERSON WHOSE MESSAGE WAS THAT PEOPLE SHOULD LOVE ONE ANOTHER.'

Enjoy
